Ah yes, the feast-or-famine life of a mercenary. I like that you’ve let Peppermint have some victories in the paycheck area; I’ve watched all of the Cowboy BeBop episodes (and the movie) and it bothers me that they never land any significant bounties.
I like the nervous awkwardness of the second panel. There really is a legitimate time and place for everything, including masturbating in front of someone else. Also, I hadn’t gotten how her clothing fit together until this strip.
Looking at Peppermint here and in the archives, I really appreciate how toned her muscles are. She’s drawn with more than just a generic sexy figure, but the body of a woman who stays physically active. Ship is slim, but lacks the muscular build, especially in the arms, which is appropriate for a user of magic. I’m not putting either of them down here; they’re both sexy and beautiful, just in a slightly different way.
Waitaminute. Hold on. Ship in a Bottle is patron-supported. Peppermint Saga (Prime) is drawn by you.
A couple episodes of upcoming Peppermint Saga (BGR) chapters are paid for, one of them through Indiegogo and one of them through some handsome and generous donor.
How is this art, what I’m enjoying right now, being paid for? Weremole isn’t doing this pro bono publico, right? I’m not complaining, it’s just that it doesn’t add up for me.
It’s being paid for out of my own pocket (with interest). As is episode 8 and 9. Eventually, I will need to pay that money back, since it’s on the credit card. I budgeted for three episodes, and I was planning to do the fourth myself. Then, I lost one of my jobs. So, paying back the original $2000 to get these three episodes made may prove… a challenge. Your generous donations and commissions may assist in that regard.
